Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. We offer free estimates within our regular service area. For projects requiring significant travel outside our normal service area, a small travel fee may apply. Any applicable fee will always be discussed before scheduling the visit.

What areas do you serve?

Contact us to confirm availability for your location.

Are you licensed and insured?

DA Home Renovations LLC carries General Liability Insurance. When a project requires specialized trades, we work with qualified licensed or certified professionals for services such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, framing, and roofing, as applicable to the project.

How long does a typical renovation project take?

Every project is different. Smaller projects may take one or a few days, while larger renovations can take several weeks. Before starting, we provide an estimated timeline based on the scope of work, materials, and project conditions.

Do I need a permit for my renovation project?

It depends on the type of work and local requirements. Structural modifications and certain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other improvements may require permits or inspections. We evaluate these requirements based on the scope and location of each project and coordinate with the appropriate professionals when necessary.

What renovation services do you offer?

We provide a wide range of residential renovation and improvement services, including cabinet installation and refinishing, interior and exterior painting, flooring, drywall installation and repair, decks, fencing, pressure washing, trim and carpentry, backsplash and tile installation, and more. We can also coordinate specialized trades when required for a larger renovation.

Do you offer financing or payment plans?

We do not currently offer financing. For larger projects, we typically work with an initial deposit followed by scheduled progress payments as the project moves forward. The payment schedule is clearly defined and agreed upon before work begins.

What does your renovation process look like, from consultation to completion?

We start with a consultation to understand your needs, ideas, and project scope. We then evaluate the work and provide a written estimate. Once approved, we coordinate scheduling, materials, and project details. Throughout construction, we communicate with you about progress and any necessary decisions. At completion, we review the finished work with you to make sure the agreed scope has been completed.

Do you offer a warranty or guarantee on your work?

Yes. We stand behind our workmanship and provide a one-year warranty on our labor. Manufacturer warranties for products and materials, when applicable, are separate and subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

Can I stay in my home while the renovation is happening?

In many cases, yes. It depends on the size and nature of the renovation. We work to minimize disruption and keep the work area as organized as possible. If certain areas of your home will be temporarily unavailable, we discuss this with you in advance.

How do you handle unexpected issues or changes during construction?

Renovations can sometimes reveal conditions that were not visible before work began. If an unexpected issue is discovered or you request a change to the original scope, we explain the situation, available options, additional costs, and any potential impact on the schedule before proceeding with additional work.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept Zelle, check, and cash. Payment amounts and due dates are outlined in the project proposal.

How far in advance should I schedule my project?

Availability depends on the size of the project and our current schedule. Smaller projects may be accommodated sooner, while larger renovations should ideally be planned several weeks in advance. We recommend contacting us as early as possible to discuss your preferred timeframe.

Do you provide a written contract and detailed quote before starting work?

Yes. Before work begins, we provide a written proposal detailing the scope of work, pricing, payment schedule, and other important project information. Any significant changes or additional work during the project are discussed and approved before proceeding.
